Your thighs should be tilted about 40 degrees. A higher angle will cause the femoral vein to kink, obstructing blood flow further.
Your knees should have a bend to provide a more comfortable position. Bent knees will relax your tendons.
You do not want your knees in a straight position, as this could cause kinking of your veins against your bones that could cause blood flow obstruction pain.
The lower leg (knee to ankle) needs to be tilted on a ramp to allow gravity to help with blood flow.
